Stephen King is working on another book in The Dark Tower series. Titled The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole, this novel reportedly takes place between the events of the 4th and 5th books:
The major story of Roland and his ka-tet was told, but I realized there was at least one hole in the narrative progression: what happened to Roland, Jake, Eddie, Susannah, and Oy between the time they leave the Emerald City (the end of Wizard and Glass) and the time we pick them up again, on the outskirts of Calla Bryn Sturgis (the beginning of Wolves of the Calla)?
Stephen King’s official website has now announced that the book is due out next spring and that there will be a limited signed edition of the novel, featuring artwork by Jae Lee, who worked on The Dark Tower comic book series…
Donald M. Grant, Publisher, Inc. will, in the Spring of 2012 be publishing limited editions of this new Dark Tower novel by Stephen King which will be illustrated by Jae Lee.
Stephen King has agreed to sign 800 copies of a Deluxe Edition which will be issued in a tray case. These will also be signed by Jae Lee. In keeping with our policies of supporting long time customers, owners of Deluxe Edition copies of THE LITTLE SISTERS OF ELURIA numbered 1-800 will have the first option to buy this Deluxe Edition.
In addition there will be a limited ‘Artist’ Edition which will be signed by Jae Lee and will be issued in a slipcase.
