  • Geohot Raps a Message to Sony

    WTF?

Geohot (iPhone jailbreaker) can rap! In case you hadn’t heard, he moved his jailbreaking on to the Sony Playstation platform and Sony sued him. Maybe they should just sign him instead.

    Lyrics:

    Yo it’s geohot

And for those who don’t know

    I’m getting sued by Sony

Let’s take this out of the courtroom and into the streets
I’m a beast, at the least, you’ll face me in the northeast
Get my ire up, light my fire
I’ll go harder then Eminem went at Mariah
    Call me a liar
Pound me in the ass with no lube, chafing
You’re fucking with the dude who got the keys to your safe and
Those that can’t do bring suits
Cry to your Uncle Sam to settle disputes
Thought you’d tackle this with a little more tact
But then again fudgepackers, I don’t know Jack

I shed a tear everytime I think of Lik Sang
But shit man, they’re a corporation
And I’m a personification of freedom for all
You fill dockets, like thats a concept foreign to y’all
While lawyers muddy water and TROs stall
Out of business is jail for me
    And you’re suing me civilly

    Exhibit this in the courtroom
Go on, do it, I dare you

  • Killzone 3 Demo Making The Latest Reviews Seem Unreliable

After playing the single player demo and reading some of the latest reviews, it seems Guerrilla Games latest shooter may have been unfairly nit-picked to the point of ridiculousness by some of the more popular gaming networks. Here is what game-insider had to say:

From the gameplay of this demo it is truly hard to believe any respectable gaming journalist would actually undercut this experience with negative propaganda based on some self righteous quest to be different. These reviews might be going beyond the point of an opinion. They can appear to become over-exaggerated banter with no respect for the herculean development efforts put forth by Guerrilla Games.

From complaints that the cut-scenes go black causing too much delay between the action, the dialogue being considered flat and boring with no real need to listen, to being called a ‘miserable experience’, and not offering anything new to the genre which I must add is a complete double-standard, this demo begs to differ in a big way. In fact this demo which more than likely doesn’t scratch the surface of the full experience makes an embarrassing mess of the holes found in some the latest reviews.

Nevertheless, this is only a demo.

To our gaming journalist brother and sisters who tirelessly and HONESTLY place the interest and concerns of gamers before their very own, I salute you.

  • Kevin Butler Retweets PS3 Jailbreak Code

Sony’s awesome, yet not actually real, Vice President of, well, anything Sony PlayStation related has today made a mistake that is sure to not be forgotten for the months or even years to come.

Travis La Marr, or “@exiva“, sent a tweet over to Kevin Butler’s Twitter account which contained the PlayStation 3 METLDR root key and more-or-less challenged the VP of everything to “Come at me.” Apparently, Kevin Butler hasn’t heard the news recently as he confused it for a Battleship reference and retweeted the code for everyone to see.

The tweet has since been removed, but Engadget was able to snap a screenshot of the tweet, found above.
