• Captain America: The First Avenger Plot Details Revealed

    Some plot details have been revealed for Captain America: The First Avenger. which come directly from this months issue of French magazine L’Ecran Fantastique . It gives some new information about the movie and some other speculations. This excerpt has been roughly translated from French.

    [Possible Spoilers Ahead]

    The film is set at 95% during the Second World War, but it starts today, for extracting a block of ice containing a mysterious figure, block located in the wreckage of a giant bomber. The film also ends in our time.

    – The Shield: It is manufactured by Howard Stark, and the white parts are vibranium an indestructible alloy created by Stark Industries [vibranium it is therefore artificial, different from natural vibranium Wakanda, home of the Black Panther] . It was built from the ground up for smartphones and tablets, which have more advanced browsers that support the latest web technologies, including HTML5.

    The app is fast – you can quickly scroll through your timeline, move between tabs and compose Tweets. It’s rich – it takes advantage of capabilities that high-end device browsers offer, such as touch gestures and a large screen. And it’s simple – it’s easy-to-use and has the features you’d expect from a Twitter application, including your timeline, @mentions, messages that you can read in conversation view, search, trending topics, lists, and more.

  • Hitman: Absolution New Details Revealed

    Following the release of the first teaser trailer, Square Enix has officially announced Hitman Absolution, which is currently in development at Square-Enix owned IO Interactive Studio.

    The fifth game in the series once again stars Agent 47 who’s this time taking on his “most dangerous contract to date”, it will also have a cinematic new story that will take Agent 47 to new parts of “the Hitman fantasy”.

    Hitman Absolution’s being built using Glacier 2, proprietary technology developed by IO and built from the ground up especially for the new game to boast brand new features to complement the series’ much-loved gameplay. Square’s official blurb says:

    Betrayed by those he trusted and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world, in his search for the truth.

    IO game director Tore Blystad adds: “For the first time we are taking Agent 47 on a personal journey which allows us to explore other parts of the Hitman fantasy and he went on to say:

    This is both a familiar and yet significantly different experience to any of the other Hitman games, something our silent assassins will relish as well as those who are new to the Hitman world.

    Hitman: Absolution has been confirmed to appear at E3 2011, and is scheduled for release in 2012.
