    The popular free messaging and VoIP mobile, Viber, has today released a native desktop apps for both Mac and PC. The desktop apps sync seamlessly with the existing mobile apps on iOS, Android, and other platforms. Viber has also announced video calls, allowing it to offer truly Skype experience alternative.

    Send text messages and make voice and video calls from your PC or Mac. Seamlessly transfer calls between Viber Desktop and your phone.

    Here are some of the features for Viber 3.0 on IOS:

    • You can now send video messages to your friends
    • All new voice engine improves sound quality on both low quality and high quality networks
    • Online status indicator tells you when your friends are connected to Viber. Note: users can receive messages even when not connected!
    • In app banner indicates that you received new messages
    • Automatically download new photos for faster viewing
    • You can now add a caption to the photos and videos you send
    • Easily browse through photos received from specific users or groups
    • Show only groups in messages screen, so you can quickly find a specific group
    • Larger photos and larger photo thumbnails
    • Better looking contact info screen
    • New package of fun stickers
    • Accessibility is now supported
    • Viber is also localized to: Czech, Danish, Greek, Finnish, Hungarian, Polish, Swedish, Turkish, Korean, Dutch, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay and Indonesian
    • Performance improvements and multiple bug fixes.

    At MAX 2013 conference, Adobe has officially dropped support for its CS6 suite and announced that its shifting future updates for Creative Cloud members only. There is a ton of new features coming to Photoshop, Premiere, illustrator, InDesign and After Effects. More updates to its iOS apps including Kuler, and Adobe Ideas.

    Updates will be rolled out June 17 at which time Adobe will be ending support for CS6 with all new features coming to Creative Cloud users only. New features including:

    Photoshop enhanced to reduce image blur brought on by camera shake, includes a redesigned Smart Sharpen utility, improved upsampling, and the ability to apply RAW edits as a filter in any layer.

    Dreamweaver gets PhoneGap Build support for building and packaging native apps for iOS and Android, new CSS designer, an enhanced Fluid Grid Layout, Sync settings to access files, more support for HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

    Flash Professional was completely rebuilt to include 64-bit architecture, HD export, improved HTML publishing, a new streamlined UI, real-time mobile teasing for iOS and Android devices, as well as a new code editor, real-time drawing, an unlimited pasteboard size, and more.

    Illustrator was updated to include new features such as Touch Type tool that allows characters to be manipulated like individual objects with support for multitouch devices and stylus, images in brushes, new sync settings, sync colors, font search, etc.

    InDesign gets 64-bit support, HiDPI and Retina Display support, a new QR Code Creator, etc.

    Samsung in a mission to popularize its latest flagship Galaxy S4 but at the expense of Apple. A new Ad for GS4 pokes fun at Apple’s iPhone 5. GS4 features are way much more than the iPhone 5, and its specs beat Apple’s latest smartphone in terms of almost everything. Watch the Ad right below:

    Although Samsung started this kind of mocking Ads, last week Microsoft and Nokia poked fun at both iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4. A marketing initiative from Microsoft, with a touch of humor, to address its position as number three. The Ad states “Don’t fight. Switch“

    After numerous leaks, Activision has officially released the first Call of Duty: Ghosts reveal trailer. The game will be revealed at the new generation Xbox announcement May 21st.
